March 8 sees the release of A Sufi And A Killer, the debut album for Warp Records by “desert-dwelling yogi” Gonjasufi.
Produced by The Gaslamp Killer with Flying Lotus and Mainframe, the LP finds Gonja’s uniquely cracked vocals set against shimmering, Middle Eastern-influenced instrumental textures and the kind of lopsided beats that FlyLo and his Brainfeeder brethren have made their own.
